Anaya Kashif's observation during the Covid lockdown inspired her to make a positive change by replacing plastic-wrapped flowers with sustainable and eco-friendly gifts. Her actions served as an inspiration for others to think creatively and make a difference in their own communities.
The Journey
Anaya, inspired by her mother's artistic approach and her love for plants, started sending customised plant gifts to her family members. She created a social media account, gathered 10 initial followers, and asked for their support. Within 6 months, her account gained around 1,000 followers. To make a positive impact during the Covid lockdown, Anaya involved people from disadvantaged backgrounds in her project, providing them with employment. This generated income that allowed her to pay her school fees and become financially independent. Anaya aims to inspire others to join her as ecopreneurs and make a difference in their communities.
